Hi all

Palm Island resident, Lex Wotton, charged in relation to the alleged "riot" on Palm Island trial in November 2004, has had his hearing adjourned until 21st April 2008. Lex had been seeking a longer adjournment of several months, but has only been given a few weeks.

We had a fundraiser the other night, but we still need more money to support Lex through the trial process. Please consider donating even a small amount (but preferably lots!) to Lex (details below).

If anyone needs more info about the case, so as to put motions to get money through student unions or trade unions (a not very subtle hint to those in student bureaucrat positions at Melbourne Uni and RMIT in particular....), get in touch with me.
