Come celebrate the memory of the "Sacred fire at the Stolen-wealth games". On March 12h 2006 the fires of justice were re-ignited in Victoria to coincide with Commonwealth games. For 60 days hundreds of people battled the elements and the empire to keep the flame burning in an effort to cast its Peaceful smoke around the globe and to bring harmony and justice to mankind. And heal the earth.


2 years later nothing has happened to resolve the fundamental issues of the Black GST (Genocide, Sovereignty and Treaty in Australia), in-fact further incursions into indigenous self determination have occurred with the Apartheid style NT intervention and its expansion under the current government to neighboring states, no proper accountability into the intervention especially the quarantining of welfare payments has been provided by the Rudd regime, sorry to say. 


All are welcome to take part in the celebrations and take action to put pressure on the Rudd government to make genuine efforts to end 237 years of injustice by signing and IMPLEMENTING the UN declaration on the rights of Indigenous people, for a start.


Wed 12th March... Memorial and reunion to the fire. Live simulcast on 3CR. Starts 11 am. Kings Domain near Sydney Myer Music bowl. All are welcome.


Thurs 13th March... National day of action against the quarantining of welfare payments. Heidelburg Centrelink 1pm. 21 YARRA STREET HEIDELBERG VIC 3084


Fri 14th March... Film screening of 'The wrong side of the road'.  and more. 830 pm
HOT GOSS!! Legendary indigenous Reggae band No fixed address are reforming. 


Sat 15th March... Gathering at kings domain. BBQ, buskers, stories, and a free concert featuring Deadly Koori Hip Hoppers The Young Warriors, the infamous Combat Wombat and more. 
BBQ starts 1 PM, bands 3 PMish. 


A legion of police acting out racist policy may have doused the fire at camp sovereignty, but they haven't extinguished the spirit of its flames that burn stronger than ever in conscientious just people.
