The Latin American and Australasia Indigenous Gathering 2008
will be held in October 24,25 and 26

A grass roots indigenous organisations representatives gathering organised
by Latin American Solidarity Network (Lasnet)and others group working in
Melbourne. This gathering has the objectives to build bridges between
different first nation’s struggles in Latin America, Asia Pacific and
Australia.

There is a lot to talk, to discuss and to share; the land struggle,
sovereignty and culture, self determination; all the indigenous around the
world are just one people; they want recognition as a nations, their
struggle never will be silent until they rights will be respect.

Interested people are invited to come to our next meeting next Tuesday
March 11, the organising committee will meet from 6:00 to 7:00pm only, we
will discuss initial details and countries participants in this Latin
America and Australasia Indigenous Gathering
