Dear Friends,

The Anti-APEC Network in Melbourne is getting organised for the protests against Bush, Howard and co in Sydney in September.

1) Anti-APEC Fiesta -- Fitzroy Town Hall, Saturday, July 14 from 7pm.

Music from Kids With Guns and more, comedy from Rod Quantock, short speeches, including by a Chilean activist involved in recent anti-APEC protests in Santiago.

Bar, food and good company. $15 and $10 unwaged -- proceeds towards cheap transport to the APEC protests in Sydney.

Organisations are invited to have information tables (cost $20).

2) The Anti-APEC Network  is now meeting weekly, from Tuesday June 19 at 6.30pm at the community centre at 10 Church Street, North Fitzroy (just off Nicholson Street -- tram stop 19 on the 96 route).New faces very welcome.

The Anti-APEC Network is supported by Unity for Peace, the Latin American Solidarity Network(LASNET), the Ongoing G20 Arrestees Solidarity Network, Fair Go for Palestine, Moreland Peace Group and the International Socialist Organisation.
