Last weekend was another weekend of repression, disappearances, murder and 
intimidation for the people of Oaxaca.

A state of siege is in effect in Oaxaca since Saturday evening. After the 
arrest of over 100 militants and wounding of over 80, the movement led by 
APPO is asking for international protests to put pressure on the Mexican 
government.
