On the 8th of October 1967 one of the greatest revolutionaries in Latin America's history was gunned on the orders of the CIA. Ernesto "Che" Guevara was a doctor, a statesman and most of all a revolutionary icon for millions of Latin Americans.
Today with the rise of the left in Latin America Che Guevara's books and ideas are as relevant today as when he wrote them in the 1960's.
To Commemorate the 40 years of Che Guevara dead in combat a committe is being formed to organise a week of activities in the week leading up to the 8th of October 2007. 

All are welcome to participate in the committe.

The first meeting will be at Trades Hall at 6:30 Friday 15th of December.
